I am Kennedy Iyeh, a multi-skilled creative designer committed to identifying innovative approaches to business challenges. A designer passionate about building products that transcend time and serve the most satisfaction to users.
Currently, I lead UX Design at Interval, Canada. I recently bagged a Distinction in MA Creative Technology from the University of Salford. In addition, I have business development and market research training certification from the Enterprise Development Center at Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos.
I have had the privilege to create solutions and lead design teams across SAAS, health, fintech, etc. For SAAS, I led the design team at Formplus, tackling issues around poor UX and reducing user drop-offs by simplifying the form creation experience. For health, I created the mobile experience for bill payments, cards and navigation at Peachy to make health bill payments easy and seamless for patients and providers in the USA. And for fintech, I led a squad team at Brass technologies. As a result, I designed two of the four main products at Brass, leading to a seed round raise of $1.7million. I lead design at interVal, Canada as a contract UX Designer. In my sted as UX lead, I have designed significant products that contributed to the raise of $1 million in seed funding and recognition from the Canadian government for innovation with $250,000 in equity-free capital.
I share as much passion for design as I do for startups and technology-driven businesses.
In 2017, I emerged the Season 4 winner of The Next Titan, Nigeria's foremost entrepreneurial reality show. In the academy, I led teams to deliver excellent solutions for industry leaders such as SIFAX group, Heritage Bank, Ford Motors, Aero Contractors, and Sahara Energy. Projects handled include marketing campaign videos used to sell multi-million naira cars for Ford and designing a mobile app for Heritage Bank.
Interesting to mention that I am a one-time founder. In 2018, I co-founded Blueleaf - an Agri-tech startup that features a vendor marketplace to connect vendors with our network of vetted farmers and a CRM tool to manage orders. Unfortunately, Blueleaf was dissolved in January 2020, as business operations were affected by the economic effects of COVID.
Outside design, I believe in 'humanity first' and taking necessary actions to support improved livelihoods. In 2016, I was nominated for The Future Awards Africa, "Young Person of the Year" award category. This nomination was in recognition of my numerous community development projects in Anambra State, which also bagged me an award from the Anambra State Government.
